Republican Whip, Sen McConnell, budgeted $20 million for parties celebrating victory in Iraq and Afghanistan. How out of touch is he? Iraq is on the verge of, if not already in, a civil war. The Taliban and al Qaida are making a comeback in Afghanistan. The sentiment is nice, but the reality shows a disconnect of the facts on the ground.
