Has A Withdrawl Date Been Set In Private?

A few weeks back, I saw this article in the Kyodo News. It said officials from Japan, the United States, Britain and Australia were meeting to discuss a withdrawl date from Iraq. But I haven't heard anything about it since. And then over the last few days this.

An Iraqi official, Joe Biden and the Danish are just a few who lately have used the Summer of 2008 target for bringing troops home. Hmmm, if I am doing the math correctly that would bring them home as people are preparing to go to the ballot box. I really hope, I REALLY hope that politicians don't sink to an all time low and use this to an advantage, either side!

Especially when you consider how many American families have relatives in Iraq. It would be an easy way to get votes, but the easy way isn't always the best way or the correct way.
