Meeting To Discuss Withdrawl Date

Officials of Japan, the United States, Britain and Australia will meet next week to discuss withdrawing from Iraq.

(Kyodo News) Officials of Japan, the United States, Britain and Australia are planning to meet in London next week to discuss the timing for withdrawing their troops from Iraq, Japanese government officials said Wednesday.

Foreign affairs and defense officials from the four countries will study their troops' withdrawal after reviewing the current security situation in Iraq and the country's political processes toward inaugurating a new government, the officials said.
