Climate Change Coming To A Glacier Near You

The largest tropical glacier, Qori Kalis in Peru, could lose 50% of it's mass over the next 12 months and be completely gone in five years. Initially the rate of retreat for the glacier was about six meters a year, now it is somewhere around 60 meters a year.
