Lebanon: Demo For Iran?

According to an article coming out in the New Yorker by Seymour Hersh, the U.S. and Israel have been planning to attack Hezbollah well before July 12, the day two Israeli soliders were captured. They[U.S. and Israel] then waited for the right moment or incident to use to launch this offensive on Hezbollah. The article then goes on to say that this was a "demo" for what to do in Iran.
