Europeans Can't Complain With A McRib In Their Mouth

Europeans love to tell Americans that we are unrefined. That we don't know the finer things in life. So why does it not surprise me to see that McDonald's has posted record results in Europe.

(AP)The United Kingdom, which has long provided mixed results for the hamburger chain, was a significant contributor with its pound saver menu and varied promotions, including a "Win World Cup Chicken" game marketed through text messaging. So was World Cup host Germany, with promotions linked to the monthlong tournament as well as a value menu and the Big Tasty premium sandwich.

I'll take a #2 with a Sprite over bangers and mash any day!
