Small Victory In Eminent Domain

Last year a Connecticut city used eminent domain to take land from residents to allow for the building of a Pfizer research facility. Even Dubya couldn't let this continue, so today

(Reuters) - President George W. Bush issued an executive order on Friday to limit the U.S. government from taking private property only for the benefit of other private interests, like corporations.

However, as long as this Supreme Court is against protecting citizens rights and more concerned in giving those rights to corporations and the government, this is nothing more than lip service.
