House Votes To Remove Trigger Locks

Today the House voted to overturn a law requiring handguns to be sold with trigger locks.

(Reuters)Rep. Marilyn Musgrave, a Colorado Republican, argued that the added cost of the trigger locks is passed on to gun owners and that they "do not stop accidental shootings."
These have got to be the worst reasons for not including a trigger lock with each handgun. My P226 cost 7 bills, what is $5-7 extra really going to matter? If I don't want to use it, I don't have to. And while yes, trigger locks won't "Stop" accidental shootings, it does help cut them down.
