Bush Republicans Out Of Touch

It is almost funny now when we hear a Republican tell the Country that it is the Democrats, or the Liberals, who are out of touch. Yet all of the polls lately say otherwise. Including a AP poll that says;

Overall, 56 percent of Americans favor offering illegal immigrants a shot at some kind of legal status; roughly two-thirds of those ages 18-34 like the idea and an equal share of those with a college education agree, the AP-Ipsos survey found.

Some other poll numbers from Pew Research Center as of posting this;

Presidential Approval 33% / disapprove 57%
Republican Party Favorability 44% / Unfavorabilty 50%
Democratic Party Favorability 48% / Unfavorability 44%
War in Iraq Right 45% / Wrong 49%
