Taliban And Al Qaida Back Together Again

It appears that the Muslim Dynamic Duo are back together again. Which is strange because we have been hearing that the Taliban were either captured or killed. Or at least that is what the Administration has been telling us. We've also been told how Democracy is "On The March" in Afghanistan. But we know the The Truth. If they can't even get the war in Afghanistan right when we had the support of the rest of the world, how can we feel confident that they will do anything but continue to fail in Iraq? I was against the war in Iraq, but unfortunately we can't just leave or all we will have done is create another Afghanistan. Something has to be done because we are just spending way to much money. It just makes nervous, if we want to keep our place as the only superpower in the world, we need to review what happened to The U.S.S.R. when they attacked Afghanistan. They just kept spending and spending. While this wasn't the only reason for the fall of The U.S.S.R., it was definitely one of them.
