A New Internet In The Works

The people at DARPA are in the process of creating a new, more secure internet, and wireless to boot. Unfortunately it is not for public consumption.

(UPI) The Pentagon research office that spawned the earliest version of the Internet, wants a newer, more secure wireless version for the military.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, will hold a conference at the end of April in northern Virginia to introduce a concept for "an intrinsically assurable mobile ad-hoc network."
Apparently all they are waiting for is for Al Gore to sign off on it. I kid of course.
