Good News From Wal-Mart

Fair is fair, I guess. If I am going to ride Wal-Mart for what they do wrong, and they do a great job providing material for that, I should give them a little kudos when they do good.

(CNET) The company put out an RFP (request for proposal) last month to solar electric suppliers and expects to receive responses early this month, according to a representative. The move is part of a long-term plan to convert to renewable energy sources.

The size of the solar project would be 60 times larger than Google's solar system, which currently is the largest corporate installation to date.
