Fiji Under State Of Emergency

So after the military stages what appears to be a "non-violent" coup in Fiji, their leader, Commodore Frank Bainimarama, has declared a state of emergency.

(IHT)Bainimarama swore in military medic Dr. Jona Senilagakali as interim prime minister in a ceremony at Suva's main military barracks. In an address afterward broadcast nationally, Bainimarama said he had declared a state of emergency because intelligence indicated some people were planning civil disruption.
You mean like staging a coup? With that said, it's not hard to see why some might be a little upset with Bainimarama. In a statement released to the public, he warns those who might not agree with his actions.
"For those who do not agree with what we are doing, we respect your opinion, but do not interfere with the process that is currently under way," Bainimarama said. "There is no point in debating the legality or otherwise of our actions. Qarase and his cronies are not coming back."
Yes, because he and his cronies are now in charge, and there is only room for one group of cronies at a time!
