Why Do I Care About Wal-Mart Selling These Shirts?

Someone has asked why I care about this issue with Wal-Mart, and why am I putting the effort into that I am. First of all, I don't care if Wal-Mart sells this or not. I care about how Wal-Mart has claimed to be our conscience on several occasions, like telling us what cd's, dvd's or books are okay for us. We've also heard how Wal-Mart pharmacies have refused to fill prescriptions for legal drugs because of the type of drug. And god forbid you are an employee and mention unions or wear anything with a union logo on it.

I have also been informed about Totenkopf Records, who apparently got their start in or around 1978. I bet Wal-Mart wouldn't carry any of those records either.

Initially I was happy to see the quick "verbal" response from Wal-Mart, but their actions since, have been less than applaudable. The irony of something like this being sold in Wal-Mart and Jon Stewart's book being banned in Wal-Mart(because he superimposed naked bodies onto the heads of the Justices of SCOTUS) is self explanatory I hope.
