Everything Has A Price

How much are you willing to spend to buy Congress? Because apparently it's not a matter of "if" you can but rather who and how much.

(Blotter)House and Senate candidates have again raised more than $1 billion dollars in contributions this campaign cycle. More than half of the money raised by incumbents typically comes from lobbyists, according to the Campaign Finance Institute.

But don't just blame the lobbyists, Hebert says. "Members on the Hill have a responsibility not to make it seem as if their public offices are for sale to the highest bidder," he tells ABC News.
This should be a public event, maybe a TV show, and instead of a dinner make it an auction. Have all the politicians stand on the stage and one by one the lobbyists will bid on them. How much does it take for Hillary to fold to the oil companies? How much would it take for McCain to find his religion? You could have FOX produce it a la American Idol. It would be huge hit. We could call it something like, What's Your Integrity worth?
