Oil, Oil And More Oil

In the last few days I have heard some interesting and promising things about oil that I didn't know. I learned about a new technique that Shell, Chevron and some other oil companies are trying in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming to turn shale rock into oil. Which if made possible, would be the largest known reserve in the world. Unfortunately it will be some time before it is reality and as safe as needed.

Chevron has also tapped into something in the Gulf of Mexico. Chevron seems to be benefiting from the higher price of oil. These techniques and methods are only viable now because oil is at record prices. Hey, you don't think that is why we went into Iraq and let Iran become such a problem? Oil guys like Bush and Cheney, and oil girls like Condoleezza Rice wouldn't do that, right?
