Oil Prices To Go Up

Because 8% of America's oil refining is being taken offline in Alaska. Corrosion of a BP pipeline and small oil spill, if there is such a thing, are the reason. Some will say that we need more refineries and oil exploration. There are only two ways to really fix this problem forever.

1. Find alternative fuel sources
2. Conserve energy(use less energy or create more energy efficient products)
   

Because if we leave it up to the oil tycoons and politicians, we get solutions like "We need more refineries" and open ANWR. But what they don't tell you is that oil companies have closed 178 refineries since 1980. And in that time only 1 company has filled to build a new one. Also, any oil taken from ANWR, will be minimal at best(USGS analysis) and would take 10 years from the time drilling is ok'd to see any of that in the form of gasoline.
