Debate, Republican Style

If I am lawyer, debating another lawyer, does the line "I am a lawyer and I know what I am talking about" hold any weight? And even when a judge rules that they can't do something, they still think they can because the judge just doesn't understand the 'seriousness' of the matter. And if you are not going to answer the questions asked, then is this really a debate? If all else fails, insult and call the other person names.

That is exactly what Jed Babin did while going at it with Glenn Greenwald on the Alan Colmes show. But Glenn held his own.
