Are Chicagoland Hospitals Ready For Bird Flu?

According to this report, apparently not. After reading this I almost feel like their plan for bird flu is plastic, duct tape and water.

(Daily Herald)
•More than 40 percent of hospitals did not have complete plans for allocating life-saving medical resources to patients in the event of a pandemic.

••Nearly 60 percent hadn't conducted an avian-flu-specific drill.

•At total of 18 percent answered yes to all the survey questions.
I know some think that this is "over there" problem. SARS was an over there problem until someone took a flight into Canada and 44 people died. Imagine if someone who had the bird flu arrived at Hartsfield or O'Hare. What do you think would happen? If this report is correct, then an outbreak in Chicago would probably follow.
