Black Cloud Over Tour de France Winner

Initial drug tests taken from Floyd Landis after his amazing ride in stage 17 win of the Tour de France have come back positive for high levels of testosterone. While Floyd Landis is denying it, it continues the black cloud that has followed the sport over the last several years. Landis has denied taking any drug and said he is anxious to clear his name.

(AP)The Phonak team suspended Landis, pending results of the backup "B" sample of his drug test. If Landis is found guilty, he could be stripped of the Tour title and fired from the team.

"I think there's a good possibility I'll clear my name," Landis said. "Regardless of whether this happens or not, I don't know if this will ever go away."
