House Dems Remove Jefferson From Committee

Led by Nacny Pelosi, the House Democrats voted to remove Rep. William Jefferson from his position on Way & Means. It's somewhat refreshing to see action taken. We see too much of people hanging around they are found guilty. Yes I know innocent until proven guilty, but most politicians are guilty of something, we just don't have proof because they cover their trails well.

In this case, where $90,000 was found next to the Hungry Man, and Tom Delay's trials and tribulations, we allow them to continue to collect a taxpayer funded salary and the benefits of being a member of Congress while they bend us over and tell us it's ok! I am beginning to think that the only reason for political parties is for special interests to know who to bribe and how to bribe them.
