Rice, Rumsfeld Block Access To Detainees

Once again our government in it's idealogical war to spread Democracy has denied the International Committee of the Red Cross to view how we are treating "enemy combatants" in secret prisons

(Reuters/MSNBC)“No matter how legitimate the grounds for detention, there exists no right to conceal a personÂ’s whereabouts or to deny that he or she is being detained.”

So why does the Red Cross want access to these detention centers, or torture prisons?

A Washington Post report last year, which said that the CIA had run secret prisons in Europe and flown suspects to states where they would have been tortured, unleashed a spate of investigations. But none so far have produced solid proof.

Maybe if someone was given access to these areas, there would be proof!
