McCain Flips On Religious Right

The Washington Post refers to McCains speech at Liberty University as reconnecting. I tend to look at it like he is a Bush copy cat, or put differently, he flip-flopped on his position since his 2000 bid for president.

After referring to Rev. Jerry Falwell as one of the political "agents of intolerance," Sen. John McCain has done a 180 on Falwell and the religious right. McCain, who I would have voted for in 2000 had he won the nomination for President, is a shell of the man once known as the "Maverick".
