I hope the Democrats are listening, because running out the clock in 2006 and hoping that will win them the House or Senate is the wrong decision. In this case, the best offense is a good offense. If Democrats don't take the fight to the Republicans, they will be forced to defend themselves against the Republicans "Uber Patriotic" calls to Nationalism run amok.
