Masked Police Take Over Government Building

A group of masked Palestinian police, angry over not being paid, take over a section of Gaza. In the last week the U.S. and Europe have cut off money to Hamas, the terrorist group that took over the government after they won election.

(AP/Yahoo)The gunmen surrounded the building where town councilors have their offices, taking positions on the roof and on balconies and firing in the air. The Palestinian Chamber of Commerce also has offices there.

The protest was one of the first signs of discontent with the new government, which took office late last month.

It just feels like one morning I will wake up and the whole Middle East will be at war. I can only imagine what if feels like for the millions of innocent bystanders in Iraq, Palestinian Territories and Iran. Just like we need leaders and visionaries in America, they need them even more in the Middle East.
