$1.9 Billion From Iraq To Border Patrol
This is just amazing. At a time when we are giving the oil companies $2.8 billion in tax breaks, we take money from our troops in Iraq to pay for border patrol. That's right our oil companies, the ones with the billions of dollars in profit, get a $2.8 billion tax break that could go to border security.
So in summary, we are taking money away from the troops who are fighting for oil, to give to the border patrol because we would rather give the oil companies more money on top of their profits from oil. Maybe we should be asking the oil companies to finance some of the war in Iraq, since we seem to do a good job financing the oil companies.
