More apologies For Failure

I was reading Andrew Sullivan and realized that are no limits to the excuses that will be made for Bush.

They are tired. Not just tired, actually, but exhausted. They can barely keep their eyes open. They are sleepwalking through their second term. And you cannot really blame them.(Referring to needing new blood in the White House)

Let's see if I can do the Bush straw man impersonation;

Me playing the roll of Bush,"Some people say that I need to change my staff. They would prefer that I clean house in the White House and leave Saddam in power. They want you to believe that the World would be a better place if Saddam was still in control of Iraq and a Democrat be in the White House. (Now is where I would do the bobbing of the head like Bush challenging someone to a bar fight.) Those enemies of "Freedom" would rather people living under a dictatorship rather than have "Freedom".
