Maybe It's Our Party

I am so amazed lately that Congressional Democrats are taking the stance they are. If all you did was listen to the comments made by them since Sen. Feingold made his comments, you would think we were in the majority and had the White House. Take for instance Nancy Pelosi

(MSNBC)“I think that things are going well for the Democrats right now,” Pelosi told reporters Thursday, alluding to recent data showing that a plurality of poll respondents would prefer a Democratic-controlled House.

So why, she implied, should Democrats risk spoiling the mood?
Hearing comments like this makes me think of a football game where a team goes into halftime up by four td's and comes out in the second half and just runs the ball. Before you know it, the other team is only down by one td. She is just one in a group of Senators and Representatives that have run and hid from Sen. Feingold and the censure, not impeachment, but censure. Rep. Bernie Sanders, from Vermont, the state of "Freedom and Unity" is another who has no desire for freedom and unity. Unless it is unity with the Republican Party Sanders is looking for.
(MSNBC)Rep. Sanders "If we are serious about ending the reactionary-type government we have in the White House and the House and the Senate, our energy has to go into the national elections to make sure we end one-party government in the United States.”
That is tough talk for someone who wants to sit back and watch Republicans continue to kick Congressional Democrats asses. I am beginning to see why so many people voted for Bush in 2004, he fought for what he believed in. Regardless of his policies and whether or not you agree with him, he doesn't tuck his tail and hide. Talk is cheap, and the Pelosi and Sanders crowd continues to talk, but gives us no results. Maybe we should look in first and remove some of the Republican Lites in the Democratic Party. The ones who if "Abortion" wasn't an issue, would be a Republican
