Frightened by recent news of radioactive tritium spills at an Exelon Nuclear power plant in Will County, Patsy and David Derbas are drinking bottled water, not eating fish caught in a lake behind their Braidwood home and wary of having their grandchildren visit them.

"You just don't know if you can invite people over to your home anymore," said Patsy Derbas, 48, whose house is 2 miles from the Braidwood Generating Station. "Two miles is not that far, and you are kind of worried about what else is going on over there."
