Iraqi Security Foeces Overestimated?

Not everyone is buying that the Iraqi Security Forces are controlling as much as people say.

"The figures vastly overestimate the actual area of influence and are at least as meaningless as the worst reporting on pacification in Vietnam," wrote Anthony Cordesman in a report issued Wednesday by the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington.

"The (United States) needs to stop issuing such nonsense as soon as possible. They have so little credibility that they can breed nothing but further distrust," Cordesman writes.
